Strive Pediatrics is an out-of-network clinic, meaning we do not directly bill insurance. Our goal is to provide your child with a custom and individualized plan of care without limits, especially without limitations placed by insurance providers regarding number of visits and when they can be utilized.
With that said, you can pay for services with an HSA or FSA card and we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. A superbill is a receipt that includes all the medical information your insurance company would need in order to provide any reimbursement.
We provide the steps on how to call your insurance company to inquire about your out-of-network coverage for physical therapy services. We are happy to email you the guide, CPT codes, or medical billing codes we use.
Please call (737) 443-9844 or email us at howdy@strivepediatrics.com for these codes or to learn more.

No, a referral is not required to get started with services. In the state of Texas, physical therapists are able to evaluate and treat a patient for up to 10-15 business days without a referral, however, after that point a referral is required.
If your main service is occupational therapy, a patient referral is required only if you have continuing sessions after the initial evaluation.
Strive Pediatrics will reach out to your primary care provider and obtain a referral.
Contact us to get started and we will begin the process for you!

Pediatric physical therapy (PT) is a specialized area of rehabilitation that focuses on improving function in babies and children. We take a comprehensive look at a children's abilities, past medical history, and impairments to determine the appropriate treatment plan. Our specialists treat and develop children to help them perform activities, develop physical skills and confidence, attain developmental milestones and ultimately improve their quality of life.

Occupational therapy helps babies and children develop the skills they need to do everyday activities—like eating, playing, and getting dressed—independently and confidently. At Strive Pediatrics, our occupational therapists work on fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and self-care abilities, making sure your child can thrive in daily life.

We’ve got you covered! While we all love technology, sometimes it can be a little frustrating, especially when it comes to scheduling and filling out paperwork. We have put together the most asked questions about Jane and answers to questions you might not even know you have yet!
If after reading through you still have questions, please email howdy@strivepediatrics.com
Family Accounts
Q: Whose account should I use—the parent’s or the child’s? A: In our system, the child’s account is the primary account, meaning that their name will appear on the bills and invoices. We add the parent’s contact information to the child account so you can receive notifications and access forms. No separate parent account is required.
Q: What is “linking” and what does it do?A: Linking accounts is basically creating a relationship between two or more accounts, such as a child’s and a parent’s. Linking allows for parents to login to their own account and see forms, documents, and upcoming appointments for their linked child.
Q: Do I need to set up a separate login for my child to access their forms?A: The short answer is no. You can log in directly to your child’s account to view and complete the intake paperwork, no parent account or linking is required. However, if you do already have your own parent account and want to be able to see your child’s paperwork without having multiple logins, contact Strive and we can link those accounts.
Q: How do I know which intake form belongs to which family member? A: When accounts are linked, the forms in the Intake Form tab will clearly show which child/patient needs their forms filled out.
Multiple Logins
Q: I have more than one child that has an account or is being seen, how do I login? A: You can either 1). Log into each child’s account separately OR 2) Use a parent account and contact Strive to link you and your child’s accounts together to manage everything from one login without having to switch between.
Q: Can you merge my logins into one single login? A: No, we cannot consolidate multiple accounts into one login. However, we can link all of your accounts together, into one “family” relationship on Jane. This will allow you to access everything from intake paperwork to appointments from just ONE login.
Q: If I have tried multiple emails on mine and my child’s account, what account should I be using? A: You should login with the email that is listed in your child’s account. Sometimes parents can create a login using a different email, which can prevent them from seeing their child’s information since it is different. If this happens, contact Strive and we can link these accounts together so ONE login will be able to access everything regardless of if you can’t get into one of the accounts.
Q: Can I use the same email or username for both my account and my child’s account? A: No, each account MUST have a unique email/username. This can be a simple as using “child” and “parent”. If both accounts are using the same username, Jane won’t know which account you’re trying to login to, which can cause confusion.
Intake Forms
Q: I received an email about intake forms but can’t open them. What should I do? A:The email is simply a notification, stating that you have forms that are incomplete. To complete the forms, log into your account and go to the Intake Forms tab and you will see any pending forms there with the corresponding child.
Q: Where are my intake forms located? A: Your intake forms are located within the My Account page on the left-hand side under Intake Forms. You should see your child’s name under “patient name” and a button next to it that says “fill out intake form”.
**Just a heads up: Please make sure that you are choosing to OPT IN for the appointment notifications and texts. We try our best to accommodate the day of if something happens, but cannot always guarantee schedule flexibility. Thanks!
